About this site
Lotta platform-hopping lately, so self-hosting seemed the way to go. So, this site is hosted in Reykjavik, runs on Ghost, and is intended to remain simple.
This is a place for clean writing.
No analytics or advertising here. No fancy interactivity. No cookies, even. I don't want anything but your attention. I'm respectful like that.
This site will evolve over time. Perfect is the enemy of good; skirmishes are frequent and protracted.
About Me
I'm Luc. I write code, music, prose, and poetry. I read. A lot. I look for wonder in the world because it brings contentment that doesn't come otherwise. This place is as much for me as for anyone – it's where I put the things I find.
I've worked in tech for almost 30 years, always close to code. Web development mostly, but also mobile and desktop. Orgs too. I'm an OS-agnostic, full-stack, solution-focused problem-solver. If I had linkedin, that's what it would say somewhere.
But I don't. So it doesn't.
I don't really exist online other than here. That's a choice. I listen to a lot of music, so my Spotify is here. Other than that, you might find me on Codeberg, or Codepen, if you're clever. I won't help you do that, though.
Lately I keep things simple. Good food, sunshine, and exercise. Great friends. Music. Always music.
